Yeah you all know this cliche. Naraku reveals Kagura had multiple openings in where she could've won but didn't take them and Kagura is pretty much throwing this on Yumi's shoulders to resolve which just pretty much defeats the entire purpose of everything Asuka did this season off screen and why she chose to do it in the first place.

this is kind of an example of how the series in recent years goes out of its way to somehow bring the story around yumi when it doesn't need to do that when it has just as many characters that can be the focus.
