Description Miss caretaker... uggh... okay if you seen me on dischord or tumblr it's no secret this series was not my favorite thing on the simple fact this tries everything to promote the worse parts of anime from a 4 koma manga of the same name. what you may ask? to start and if it's not obvious from this image taken from one of the episode and if you're a senran kagura fan you'd recognize this is Yaegashi Nan's art as he was asked to give and end card image, but one of my main issues with this is the shotacon aspect of this series. That's not even an over reaction from there's even an episode where they admit there's an attraction between the women involved and the boy you see here. something about him having some weird posing power that turns women on or something... it's really stupid. the funny thing is you can't even dislike this series or be critical on it without it the following it has claiming it is doing something deep or not understanding the characters or the attraction yet these same people are okay with criticizing anime that do the reverse of this concept. which would be the lolicon anime where it's a young teen to full adult male that tries to show he's attracted to little girls for comedy... that right there is problem number 2 for me. the hypocritical scope of how you'll defend one aspect instead of the other. yeah I know as boys we've all had that teen baby sitter or MILF next door that made your balls drop but girls growing up had their fair share of adult men they had crushes on.

so the shotacon and hypocrisy stuff are 2 issues for me and the third problem for me is just how lazy this series was from beginning to end on repeating the same jokes and set ups. it's all stuff we've seen and heard done on a lot of harem anime and manga but at least each one tries to add something minor or major to stand out from one another. on the one hand I wanted to like this cause the animation and character designs are very well done.  and the moments where there's fanservice that wasn't with the boy around work very well too since any time he's around for those it always somehow has to turn into something gives him a boner over actually making sure the boy is being raised in a family like environment. I know it's anime and japan has their humor less restrictive but jesus this grates me cause instead of trying to be better with it and it just kept repeating for 12 episodes. it's also sad knowing that this was a 4 koma manga that was being given an anime where it was gonna longer than the source material. it could've been something like engaged to the unidentified where the anime studio did something better or original than the 4 koma manga. Why couldn't this be an anime where the boy needed a actual home with ayaka sunohara(the woman in that image) wanting to raise the boy over constantly being put in positions where she keeps making the boy's dick hard and her sometimes coming in like she wants the boy to ravage her. I could understand it if he was at least 3rd year middle school to senior high school age cause that's gonna happen. boys get their sex drives very active by that point but he's still just a kid.

the few things that worked in this anime for me are pretty much what I focused on and I don't know why this one is getting a pass on something others were easily criticized on for doing. if you enjoyed it as is more power to ya. me... I'll keep focus on the waifus just keep everything else about it from the story to shotacon aspects as far away from me as possible.

a short thoughts post but that's really all i can say on it since again it was not a series I enjoyed all that much and was disappointing but as always if you have thoughts on it, leave them in the comments below.

Well, I just finished binge watching the series myself.
And personally, I agree that it's too sickly sweet for it's own good.
Not even the final conflict with the protagonist's real sister was enough to make the series well-rounded.
