Ctesiphon is placed in the Segmentum Pacificus, in Boreale System .

Its Fleet is composed by several Cargo trade ships, composing its commercial fleets. For millennia they are master of trade in the entire sector, arriving as major trade force in the Segmentum Solar. The planet has developed own technology for their ships. The main part is a vector that has the motors, the other part is the removable hulk and cargo. Often these cargos remain in orbit over the trading planets awaiting their landing turn. Their bulks can be converted to hold defensive systems as artillery and cannons, or hangar. So the Ctesiphon Fleet is versatile.

This strategy comes out the necessity to defend the trade convoys from space pirates, Ork raiders and Eldar corsairs. So the Ctesiphon navy is prepared for space combat.

The Navy base is on Polubdo, the Gas giant of the Boreale System. The main base is placed on the Red Maw, a great structure in orbit, composed by enormous space docks and factory. The other bases are on the five fluctuating city over Polubdo.

On the system the other Fleet base are on the main Spaceports: 10 on Ctesiphon (the rock giant, Trading hub and Capital of the System), 1 space station o the orbit of Ctesiphon, 1 spaceport on the Ladvaarine Island on Totanus (before the Ctesiphon Betrayal under the control of the Adeptus Astartes), 2 spaceport on Deymor (heavily defended by the Chaos Fortresses on the planet), 4 spaceport on the mining and manufacturing planet of Miyir.

The commodities extracted on Miyir are used on the same planet to produce the huge Ctesiphon Fleets, other convoys take these resources on the Red Maw to produce in the space orbit of Polubdo (avoiding the several strikes by the exploited workforce on Miyir, but the main reason is to reduced the controls of the Adeptus Mechanicus, placed on Miyir).

Now the entire System has changed side, plotting for centuries their betrayal to the Imperium. Now the Arch-Heretic (Arch Vicar Of The Blazing Sun ) is the leader of the Chaos Forces.
