Description W40K  In the fortress world of Ctesiphon, the Chaos cultists of the Sol Fulgens (Blazing Sun) sect recite sermons in the streets of the hive-city. The Chai Fabulator (Chaos Storyteller) is a fanatic disciple of the Dark Gods, with his skull-speakers spread prayers and chaotic mutations among his auditors. His pike, provided with megaphones, crows blasphemous anthems; while an unholy censer vomits pure energy of Warp.

Ctesiphon is a one of the eight planets of the Boreale star system. Ctesiphon was a civilized capital planet of the Imperium, the Chaos spreads its influence among the people; although they haven't changed their habits and customs so the corruption wasn't noticed by the Holy Inquisition. People of Ctesiphon are famous merchants; the Empire detected the menace when one commercial fleet from Ctesiphon docked in an spaceport of the Cadian Trade Cartel. The midshipmen of Cadian Merchant Federation were attacked by demons and mutants hidden in the bulk cargoes. The Inquisition sent emissaries on the capital planet, they found that the Imperial Lord Governor had changed into the Arch Vicar of the Blazing Sun. the Sun was the Boreale Star with its eight rays beams the eight planets of the system.

Not only Ctesiphon was a rich and prosperous imperial planet, in the same star system there was an Adeptus Astartes Capitolar Planet, on  planet Totanus. At first time the Inquisition thought a betrayal of the space marines, but they noticed several, never heard, requests for help from Totanus. The distorted time of Warp had slowed the comunications for two centuries. Furthermore Totanus, as Capitolar Space Marine planet, holds the Apothecary Lodge. Chaos forces could take possession of space marines's gene-seeds, and build their own army...

lord carmi, i request to be able to use Ctesiphon and the Boreale system as the setting for my up coming warhammer 40k fanart. :> I was planning on surprising you with just featuring your viking-guard ( which i planned to call Locarmites) but i wanted a chaos cultist enemy too.
