He may have emerged from a deep abyss in the depths of time. Or perhaps he plunged down from a distant star. Regardless the Dark lord has one unwavering goal: to bring chaos to the world and dominate the pitiful life forms that crawl about in the warm, wet hot houses of reality.
To this end he will draw in the wretched creatures that will serve as his army. Some are merely fodder for the campaign. Others, more intelligent forge a pact with him in hopes of gaining power for themselves. But ultimately they will find themselves consumed by the chaos unleashed by the master.
Ironically it is his dependency on minions that brings about his downfall. And through the perseverance of the hero’s the Dark lord will be cast back into the shadows he came from and peace will be restored.

But only until the next Dark lord takes his place…..
