I always liked the backstory of the Garo Tribe and Ikana, how the spies being discovered started the Great War of Ikana. Here we have Link fighting against a Garo Robe as well as a Blue Bubble floating around and a Gibdo nearby.
This is also one of many different pictures I want to experience with different backgrounds, was thinking of drawing up another background for this image, one taking inside a certain area.
....and yes that is a Cucco Chick hiding behind the tree.

So this took about 2 weeks, I have been busy with looking for another job aswell as alot of family stuff going on. This was done with a mouse and not a tablet, so that took time as well.
I was able to quickly sketch it, and then do the digital line art inside GIMP which I actually did mostly everything except for Tatl (the fairy for those that don't know who Tatl is) and the Blue Fire around the Blue Bubble, those two I worked on in Photoshop.
So here is one of three creations I was able to finish while playing Majora's Mask and I hope to continue my artwork with more improvements.

Thanks, I loved the finished piece of this drawing, just working on the shading was awesome.
Still that problem with the GIMP color picker messing up and forgetting the code was weird.

I remember fighting the Garo!!! It was kinda easy because I had my sword done with that gold dust stuff. :'D

Yeah the gold dust makes it so much more simpler, like one hit, where the other swords I believe were 2 hits (and not the GFS)

What a cool point of view, to draw this from behind Link! Ikana Canyon is so creepy (and I played MM when I was in my early 20s!) I want to hit the Blue Bubble with my shield now

Well I was deciding on either a 3rd person perspective or a 1st person but 3rd seem more fitting for LoZ. That is the Stone tower in the background along with the Moon (if that's what you thought was there).
Thanks for the compliment on the shading, that was probably the worst part to work on, along with the coding messing up in color picker.
and yes the Cucco chick actually followed Link from the Ranch

So it is the tower...I thought it was that place that you go through before you get to the tower (it's been a loooong time since I played, so I dunno anymore
Shading is always a toughie; I get done with lines (I have to use the path tool since I don't have a tablet) and think "oh yay, all I have to do now is color"...but then I get the base done and think "Oh great, now I have to do shading"
