Description
Pinfire 2mm cartidge based upon original 1900 patent.
ball is 1.7mm
Case is 1.9mm OD and 0.15mm thick with 0.3mm base corners.
Powder is 1.75mm from base
Pin is 2.3-2..6mm long and 0.5-0.58 in Dia. Very hard to read the italic font used and went for 0.5mm @2.3mm long as that matched the patent with -15° angle. pin is inserted 0.2mm below center of cartridge.
no actual 2mm live fire are commercially made to my knowledge. Most are #9 shot (0.78" 2.03mm Dia) ball rammed in a case that is really too small for it.
If the originally were really 2mm caliber, the 1.7mm ball was quite a loose fit and modern tight fitting balls must be more dangerous than the originals novelty pistols.
Have found a russian site is currently selling 1.0 and 0.8mm caliber version of these micro pistols but no mention of spare ammo.
