I've always had this theory that Navi was sort of like Link's conscience, like Jiminy Cricket. Which is why he never goes after any of the ladies ... and maybe why he's so pissed here. (I like the 'M' carved into the fence, btw :3).

Oh my goodness, that annoyed expression is priceless! I'm supremely impressed with the handling of paint here. Did you use watercolor? The colours are smooth and spot on, you did a great job representing Link and Navi in your style, and I love the foliage in the background, especially the green shadows on the trunk from the leaves. This is quite inspiring~!

This is just exquisite. Everything - the expressive poses, the minimalist background, the slight stylization in the woodgrain, the way his clothes are rolled up around his waist. A lovely new perspective on familiar territory.
