Description I feel your heart beating,
Can it hear mine crying?
I see you going on living,
Can you tell I'm trying?

If I could break away,
If I could fly up,
And touch the stars,
Would you finally stay?

Your voice is a haunting spectar,
Your touch, the only victor.
If the gods wept and pleaded,
Would your kiss last forever?

The wind blows so strong,
And the vapor of you,
Is with the world, gone,
Lacking the will to return.

Can nature justify me,
In my thoughts and actions?
Can you condone eternity,
For it's torturing treasons?

The lessons that we are taught,
Are all so we may push forward.
But, is it all for naught?
Are we all nothing but cowards?

The tapping of the rain,
On the lonely street corner.
A resonation of my pain,
So strong, it knows no borders.

When the leaves fall,
And snow surrounds this world,
Will you hear my heart call?
Or will all we know, make me a fool?

I love this. Its.. honest, and simple.
Two things I always look for in a poem.
Beautifully done.
