Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela Madiba, a true African leader and a wise man.

Right, this piece is for me a very special one. It took more than two weeks and I consider it as my most detailed and best portrait artwork till now !!! (so far, it's a record for myself, well i'm pretty sure that a professional artist would make it within a day or two, but for my current level i would have complete it normaly in 3-5 days ) Well, why does it take so long this time? Because my coaches asked me to do a more professionnal work, wich mean, to follow each step. Ain't no easy for me since, I'm used to paint according to my mood and instinct. That's why each part took 3-4 times the duration it used to take.

Now let's talk about technical details: This portrait painting has been done using TwistedBrush Studio and Photoshop cs5.5 extd. Here are the steps:
-importation of the model picture of President Mandela (here: [link] )
-creating the layer for the artwork
-using grids in photoshop to match-up the layers
-sketching and reproduction of the shape (used numerotation for accuracy drawing)
-following my coaches instructions: sketch-draw-ink-paint-blend-lights-shadows
-look for a South Africa's flag (here: [link] (www.GdeFon.ru).jpg ) on google and just import it in photoshop and paint on it (so i don't own the credit for the flag).
-tried to mix and incrust both layers (portrait and flag) but due to my tiredness, I fail to focus on the finishes(I apologise for the negligence).
