That's a seriously quality compliment!
A thousand THANK YOUS'! There are a lot of Batgirl pieces but I'm glad I managed to make mine stand out. The funny thing is that I did this with a mouse on my dude Michaelharris' computer when my first I-MAC died on me.
I hated it then. But shortly after it started to grow on me.
I did always like Barbara Gordon's character. She seemed like her potential was cut short.
But anyhooo, thanx fer the awesom compliment!

In truth, it's a big reason I have a love/hate relationship with the mainstream of comics...they have a habit of not realising that a lot of people don't just come to Batman for Batman, or X-Men for Wolverine and Cyclops...and they tend to treat a lot of people's actual favourites as expendable, especially female characters because it's a heart-string puller melodrama tip to blow away a female character. They killed Psylocke in ONE F**KING FRAME in Age of Apocalypse...sonsofbitches .

Barbara Gordon was obviously a LONG time ago, but DC recently did it with Spoiler...and at least Barbara Gordon and the Robin I can't remember got killed/maimed by a decent villain ie the Joker...Spoiler got punked if you ask me. It pissed me off with New X-Men Childhood's End, the old 'continuity clean-up' strips just get way too much on my nerves these days. Hey, we've got all these cool-ish but tertiary mutant kids we can't keep track of...how can we sort that out? Why don't we just blow them up in a bus?...that's really the best you're gonna come up with isn't it...well, it's good enough for comics

I did most of my first 2 years worth of Devs with a mouse, it's amazing what you can do with an optical and a bit of patience/training, as this Batgirl pic expertly shows , that said, I haven't looked back since my mate was good enough to give me my first Tablet as a 26th birthday present

I totally feel ya!
I have been a Cyclops and Psylocke fan fer a while and it seemed like X-books were all about Wolverine. Even villains like Omega red have been dummed down so that fan faves like wolvie can seem that much more Badass and it's annoying. Tooo much fan service.
Some of the less loved characters take that extra bit of attention and imagination to write effectively.
Ms Gordon was an example of the Right way to deal with yer supporting characters. Tho she was injured by the joker, she's still an important part of the Batman Universe.
As fer the X-books...to me they've sucked since the first movie came out. A comic that's been around fer 30+ years should not imitate a brand new movie that shits on all the history it's supposed to reflect.
That's what made those books lose their appeal to me and a few other childhood/adult fans.
But I guess it's up to us to not make those mistakes with our books huh?

Yeah...that's a burden and a half ain't it lol. I get sick of the 'Wolverine's in everything' issue, and I just feel like, every Marvel book other than the Punisher, which has I guess wised-up, has been diluted to make it more accessible to the peeps coming in off the film...that sucks. As a kid, me and my brother read X-Men, Ghost Rider, Batman and Daredevil religiously, now the only one there that's even mildly intact is Batman...and I've lost track of it anyhow.
