Bayonetta was made by the man responsible for the original Devil May Cry, and it was pretty good. So if it follows the Devil May Cry trend that means Bayonetta 2 will be absolutely horrible and Bayonetta 3 and 4 will be pretty good and try and pretend that Bayonetta 2 did not exist in the canon at all.

i personally belive that devil may cry to wasn't that bad. Its actaully a rumor that the dante in 2 was going to be vergil and his story before DMC 1, but the changed it to dante at the last second
