only a few years late to the party, i finally decided to give weaver's infamous Ruby Quest a shot

i do wish someone would have held me down and made me read it sooner. fantastic, fantastic, fantastic story. i can't stress this enough. go read it now if you haven't.

also, seriously, someone give me some halfway decent tutorials on background work or painting or something. even some tips would be nice. this is probably the first background i've drawn for anything in a long time, and it shows.
