Quasimodo truly is the most gold-hearted Disney character there is

I love this scene so much! To me, Quasimodo has finally accepted that Esmeralda does love him, but only as her friend. It looks to me like Quasimodo is giving Phoebus and Esmeralda his blessing. Wonderful drawing!

The book...ugh. Quasimodo's love for Esmeralda is even bigger in the book, and she still doesn't return it. It's heartbreaking!

Phoebus and Esmeralda are angelic people! Quasimodo is not ugly at all...(his sweetness outweighs his appearance). After all, Q-man is no beast.

Now this is an amazing drawing. You captured that scene so well ^^ I love Quasi to, I just don't like how he was portrayed in the sequel. Don't get me started on THAT monstrosity...
But still- this is my favourite scene in the movie (aside 'God help the Outcasts) since it shows that Quasi is the person holding two entirely different worlds together, or as my good friend Diego would say:
The gooey, icky...STUFF, that holds our family together. At least I think that's how it goes. Either way, stellar job ^^

This scene is heart touching although I was really hoping Quasi and Esmeralda would be a couple. Have you read the original Victor Hugo novel, "THe Hunchback of Notre DAme"? In the novel Esmeralda acts like a douchebag with Quasi cuz she doesn't want to acknowledge him and his friendship for her.

Yeah, I've read the original bit didn't like it that much. Quasimodo is kinda creepy there, Esmeralda acts completely unreasonable and Phoebus...well...he got what he deserved
