not mainstream enough? inst it the most well known none mainstream musical genera? all other generas comes and goes in fads and the music industry suffers for it. yet metal remains and new bands sprout all the time and we still got the old bands around. black sabbath,saxon,maiden,judas priest. over 30 years after they started. They have no reason not to do it. hell ronnie james Dios carreer is founded on rainbows and magic horses and far of lands.

Honestly, you have to admit that metal is strong, but not POPULAR; you do not see metal or hard rock bands at the MTV music awards? Or on the musical talent shows?Or maybe think at how "metalheads" are still depicted in movies and serials....
