Deebels are generally friendly and tech-savvy.

They are amphibious, living on a world that is almost exactly half water/half land.

You'll find colonies in the air (ala floating anti-grav domiciles) on land and under water.

The Deebels have a long history of their world being raided and pillaged and many Deebels have been enslaved.

They have the ability to secret a viscous substance from their pours in the event of an emergency, allowing an easier escape from the grip of a predator, trap or prison.

Slavers are known to have surgically removed the gland from enslaved Deebels.

They are also equipped with the ability to spit an adhesive concoction from their mouths that will temporarily render an adversary immobile and mostly harmless.

Deebels seem to be most commonly found in the roles of artists, chefs and in the entertainment field.
