Well, fraggles come up to about a human's knee (they're about 20 inches tall), and fraggles are also small enough to stand in a gorg's hand, so I'm guessing that Junior is about 15-20 feet tall.

Well... actually... I think Junior would be something like... 24 feet tall... I think. I've seen the scale before somewhere. I think he's at least twice the size as Doc. BUT, Junior did shrink in one episode so who's to say that's not what's happening here? Eh? Eh? I loves it by the way.

Thank you!Β of course, yours was the response I was most anxiously awaiting.Β I see that point.Β Everybody's guesses seem to make sense for some reason.Β I suppose my way of thinking was that Fraggles came up to human shins or knees, right?Β Then they at least came up to Gorg's shins, which are not that much higher than a human's shins.Β Ok, now I'm confusing myself.Β
Basically, I looked at it as if, when the Gorgs caught the Fraggles, it was basically the puppet thrown into the Gorg costume's hand.Β Or maybe they were doll replicas that were a bit smaller.Β
I'm waaaay overthinking this.Β

Ah yes the US version of Fraggle rock, not so much of know about him since I know the Captain and the Lighthouse.

I may be late in replying, but glad I made you aware of the other versions. Β Hopeful your see the french and German versions? Β Most of the UK epsoides are missing but some are around if you look.Β

But if you really want to debate it , you have to keep in mind that there's 2 view points...
There's the fantasy viewpoint of the characters , in which case Doc should be shorter ( as pointed out in detail by Rocket dave in these comments 
Then there's the reality view point in where we assume there's a human in Junior's skin , ( and no.. I didn't mean cause Junior ate him

Good point; while in the world of the Fraggles, I think Doc would be shorter, this is probably an accurate representation of how tall the actor Gerry Parkes would look next to someone in a Gorg costume. Β Sorry if I sounded too geekisly analytical of the whole matter.

Well, if I might throw in my two cents, I think Doc and Sprocket should be much smaller. Β The Fraggles seemed to be about knee-high to an average full-grown human/silly creature (in the original show anyway; in the cartoon, they seemed to be about half the size ofΒ the puppet versions) and they were able to fit in the palm of a Gorg's hand, so I think Doc's should only be about as high as Junior's legs. Β Also, now that I think about it, there was that one episode towards the end of the series' run where Junior throws away Pa Gorg's crown and Doc and Sprocket find it in the woods and the thing is nearly the size of Sprocket. Β
It's cool that you tackled this notion, though; I always wished there could have been time for an encounter between the Gorgs and Doc on the show.Β

If they ever get the movie off the ground, maybe we'll see Joseph Gordon Levitt meet the Gorgs; he seems skinny enough to fit through the Fraggle hole. Β Incidentally, I looked up Fraggle Rock on wikipedia and it says the Gorgs are roughly fifteen feet tall, and as well all know, wikipedia is never wrong, though I don't know where they got that precise figure from. Β
