You may have trouble believing this, but there ACTUALLY WAS a comic book villain named "the Gasser". He fought the Fox in an issue or two of one of Archie's "Mighty Comics" books. Years later, he took on the new identity of martial arts master MARTIAL LAW.
Which, I am sure you will agree, is an interesting name if nothing else.
