taking a break from hunger games ^^'I was discussing with a friend how most films ruin their original book version (i say most, obviously some do not, like harry potter and the lord of the rings (imo) but i think basically books are better than their film versions =w= )though i still love the films and i hope hunger games is awesome =w=...
so one of the ones i think completely sucked compared to the book was eragon, and i said "i've always wanted to draw him like i pictured since i didn't like his or his dragon's image in the film..." and my friend said "omg yeah go do that!" so... well yeah i drew him xD
unoriginal title is unoriginal and this is eragon and his dragon saphira -w-)b
now back to the other fandoms \o/
eragon and saphira belong to christopher paolini (go read the books O_O)

I so agree! I couldn't watch the movie, I actually just stopped it partway through because I loved the books so much and the movie was so awful. I can't understand what they were thinking when they designed Saphira. You did a much better job depicting both of them

everytime I open deviantart I see this drawin and stare at it for at least 5 minutes. it's perfect and I totally see Eragon and Saphira like that. this is my favorite drawing ever and I wish you made more fanart of Eragon!

This is absolutely beautiful. I was in the hospital a few years back and my aunt came across this picture on Google. She knew I loved dragons and printed it out for me. Ever since then I've been determined to track down the artist and say thank you.. You truly helped me through a rough time. I loved the Eragon series but this inspired me to start drawing and changed my life.. Thank you!

I've never watched it, but I've seen pictures of the cast from the movie, and Arya.... Is not Arya. The way you draw the characters is pretty close to how I imagined them as well, and so are many other pieces of fanart, but the movie cast.. Just no.
