Shreamp is a rather weak Pokémon and its considered a pray by most of the sea inhabitants. So nature gave him an advantage over others: its fins. The fins are prehensile, so it can grab things like corals and use them as tools or it can use them to drag food to safer places. Rarely, Shreamp can be seen walking on their "hands", just outside of the water.
