Alabaster finally went home to the nook after taking that wyngling to the quarantine wards and a quick check-up. She made sure to sober up and washed herself before heading back to the nook, of course. She wanted to make a good impression upon seeing her sister again, and she was more than a little nervous, if she was honest. Amazon wasn't always the most forgiving wyngro, even if she was kind.

Thankfully, it seemed her worries were mostly unfounded. After a little bit of a scolding ("how could you just go off like that and leave me in a boring old place like this?!"), Alabaster and Amazon embraced, and everything seemed well again.

Alabaster later noticed her new tail, but she wasn't much bothered by it. It was a curiosity which she'd studied when she was still traveling with her old mentor, and she knew it was just like any other wyngro trait - they appeared randomly, for the most part. Any correlation to one stereotype or another was typically imagined. If anything, it was a convenient addition to assist in her multitasking, and was much more practical than that flimsy old tail of hers which had been replaced by it. It was also something else to punch with. She would have to put in some practice with that.
