It's about time the 700 Canora got released, as we hit it some time ago! ;O;
This design comes with a shiny new trait: introducing fuzzy horns!

As we unfortunately didn't have any Christmas designs this year, the inspiration for this new trait came from the theme of Christmas, in a way.
Similarly to deer shedding the velvet on their horns, I thought this would make an interesting addition to the species. Most Canora horns are made from keratin or bone with no covering, but this strange mutation allows skin and fur to grow over the horns, giving them a soft and fuzzy appearance. As the horns grow, this skin needs to be shed, resulting in this gruesome-looking transformation a couple times a year where the skin dies and peels away, revealing a vivid reddish colour beneath. This shedding usually only lasts for a few days once it begins to peel, before the red starts to fade and new velvet begins to regrow. The skin can be seen dangling from the horns during this time. This process does not harm the Canora, but can be quite a startling sight.
Canora with the fuzzy horn trait are free to be drawn in either form - this mid-transformation stage or their otherwise normal skin-covered horn stage. Fuzzy horns can be applied to any style of horns. It is considered an add-on feature, meaning it can be stacked with any existing trait, considering you can make it work!

With this new trait, I also decided to add a little something to the group which I recently released we're lacking:
a small database for existing mutations to give information on them all. I hope they will be interesting, informative, and help bring a little more life to your characters!
