I snapped this shot of a trellis and the optical illusiony pattern created by it at a public pool.Patterns are fun....I am haunted by seeing them everywhere....

This one took me awhile to really figure out what it was... a true abstract shot. It's really cool how regular everyday things, when looked at differently, are really only collections of shapes. Very interesting series you have going.

Fantastic piece of what most would never notice! There is so much here it is too hard to talk about all of it. My favorite two aspects are the wave in the pattern near the bottom - amazing that the eye picks this up. The other is how you've gotten so many progressions going on here at once, I count at least 10 I'm sure there are more though. Wow.

I'm obsessed with patterns like this, I very rarely have my camera though and even if I do it's not very often it makes for an interesting shot, you don't seem to have that problem

that is so cool! i couldn't figure it out until seeing the full view. it seemed to me that the blue areas were surfaces of blocks as if looking down on them.

when my friends look at my pics they always ask me, "why do you take wierd shots that make no sense?"
cause i can use it as a pattern or a texture silly!
when i look at a subject, my eyes often become filtered with potential photoshop techniques.
