Hi, I managed an italian art-zine, called Chiamata alle Arti, that each two months collects artworks around the world, fitting the same theme.

i know it will sound bad...
well but i dont mean it in the bad way
i think he would look more vulnerable-and that would make that pic better in my eyes- if he was completely naked
again- i dont mean it to sound bad
anyway... even if he is not- i think its a great picture that really show what you ment to show- or at least what i believe you ment to show
and that is lovely- and that is also why i'll add it to my fav list!

i agree that he would look better naked, but first of all the location is a construction site that i don't think the contractors would like a naked man hanging around and second, the model is just a friend of mine who i don't think i would feel comfortable asking to pose nude...but we will see...i may redo.

I absolutely love this shot because it fairly accurately describes the way most people live their lives. Trapped deep within theit comfort zones, they shrink away in fear of anything that might reveal the truth about themselves. Light has always been a symbol of truth, and dark ignorance. The way you have the subject trying to hide from the truth is truly stirring. A masterful work.

I'm specially fond of the light coming from above and the subject being looking at it like he's afraid, like if he was like a vampire and be death by sunrise. in fact, this fits perfectly with this deviation title!
and what a concept: being afraid of light, like if would hurt us (like if it was the avatar of Evil, it's a great "oxΓmoro"/anatagonism! I like it... this can have various interpretations, but allways both sided!
