I've been doing some pony art in my sketchbook and coloring them with grey Copic markers. Then I scan and add color in photoshop, so that's why there's a sort of texture in her mane. It was very fun to do, and I have a few others done this way, but I think in the future I will use other paper. Something thicker and smoother like bristol would work best.Also the cloud was added in Photoshop, just to add a little more interest to the pic. I always feel guilty when I don't do backgrounds...

Before things were final, Surprise was acually going to be in the show instead of Pinkie Pie. They both have the same attitude, persona, etc. But they just decided on a pink earth party pony instead of a pegasus.

She is a re-color of Pinkie Pie by Hasbro. She's one of their toys I and the original concept for Pinkie Pie, but I've never seen her in the show.
