A wonderful couple piece to go with Daniel's! Just like with his, you really capture so much emotion of her character in this. Her hair goes beautifully against the cool light blues of the background and her eyes are just wonderful. I love how you added the swan in like some others had mentioned, too. There's such great symbolism with the swan in the novel for Helena that I get shivers just seeing it here. The biggest moment of realization is when Daniel awakens to the swan, mistaking it for Helena once he enters the dreamworld (what is later known as the part where "one person's reality is another's fiction and one person's fiction is another's reality" comes into play). Such a beautiful part of the novel, and I think you caught it well here. The same with the water imagery in the background. It's beautiful yet cruel, much like how Daniel describes the dreamworld (water being very much connected to it).
Daniel and Helena's whole relationship is a tragically beautiful one and I love that you get that sense by just looking into her eyes. It's great that you chose to have them facing opposite directions, so if put side by side, they would be facing each other. Daniel's portrait is so dark and dreary while Helena's is light and beautiful, like a contrast between reality and fiction. It's as if Daniel and Helena are gazing into a mirror at each other... simply simply beautiful.
I could go on and on forever... this is a beautiful couple piece to Daniel's like i mentioned, and I think that you did an amazing job on both of them. Amazing work.

I think it's a great honor to receive such detailed and interesting comments. You are very thinly analyze these images. I could add that in my interpretation of Daniel is a shadow, and Helena - the light. All art (including the novel) is based on the combination of these two principles and the right combination. "The shadows are as important as the light for without them we would not have seen the light"

Oh, my! She's so pretty!
Helena's story with Daniel is so mysterious and tragically beautiful and I think you did a real good job with portraying that with the colors. She fits so perfect with the one you did of Daniel, like they're so close but so far from each other. They're both pretty works!

I wanted to portray her focused and mysterious that it is in harmony with the portrait of Daniel.

Your description of Helena was very detailed, thanks to delete created an interesting image. I love when I give such details.
Russian customers tend to give very vague and nebulous description, so the work has been slow and difficult))))
