I love the angle that you shot this. I went to Egypt and Israel right before 9/11 happened, and enjoyed it immensely. Did you happen to ride a camel while you were there?

I've been there twice, though after 9/11. We had actually planned to go in 2002, though after the attacks we were advised against it (though still ended up going at the end of 2002). It was disappointing to see the way a lot of the priceless artifacts were displayed and stored; there weren't propper guards over statues, people were allowed to touch things, etc. In a way I suppose this was good though, otherwise I'd never have been able to take the shots I did

This is really a great shot, the picture really invades the viewer and it makes it much more real, I can imagine trying to climb this, and I can imagine bringing home one of those heavy blocks only to realize by itself it's just not a pyramid.
