Description
Name: Cordelia/Mistress Avarice
(Pick whichever you like; one of them will win out eventually, I’m sure. xD)
Age: 156
Gender: Female
Height: 5’7” (170 cm) in heels
Race: Light Elf
Class: Sage
Aliases and Occupations: Depending on who and where you are, Cordelia goes by different names and occupations. Much like Shepherd. Hurrah for originality!
Criminal Underworld—Mistress Avarice—The Kingpin/Donna of an underground fighting ring
Bastien—Lady Cordelia Price— A Bank owner. People (mostly young men) deep in debt with her bank sometimes go missing, and soon afterwards their debts are paid in full.
Trinity—Madam Aria—Brothel owner and talented courtesan (for the right price)
East Point—Charity Watson—A pretty till worker at a bank
Miriellus—Elaine Young—A visitor from Trinity who loves to hear the capital’s political gossip
Residence: Officially the Imperial City, though she drifts to other cities when she’s bored
Faction: Order
Personality: At her core the Mistress is a dangerous, sly, confident woman. Infinitely patient and calculative, she always wears a seductive smile that hints she has an idea or plan in mind. This isn’t hidden at all when she appears as Mistress Avarice, and is toned down to “coquettish” as Lady Cordelia and Madam Aria. She is very subtle in East Point and Miriellus however, as her visits there usually serve as shopping trips for materials (and the occasional man). When in Alliance territory she appears to be more of a quiet, reserved, and gentle personality.
History/Description:
This lady is quite good at fabricating backgrounds for her aliases, and they’re known to change depending on who she speaks to. However, Bastien’s “Lady Cordelia” and Trinity’s “Madam Aria” both have a consistent background theme of having risen from a low status.
I do have a proper background for her, I promise~! Just choosing to give her a bit of mystery for now.
As a Donna, Mistress Avarice seems less inclined to initiate women into her ring, and “Madam Aria” is tactfully generous with the money and security that her girls receive. In contrast there is an abundance of men who are bought, sold, and pitted against each other in the underground fighting ring, and the Donna is well known to personally buy and break good fighters who get high enough on the ladder and catch her eye. When these fighters lose their appeal for her she will either sell them again, or—if they are a bit too broken—set them loose somewhere she has a less personal, visible presence (such as the Sea of Fire, the Morla Mountains, or Stonecross Ridge). On the rare occasion one will develop stockholm syndrome, and she'll happily accept them as a servant.
As a sage Cordelia dabbles in time and emotional manipulation (via emblems on the lining of her gloves), though her forte lies in creating magical bonds that cancel out the magic of others. Being a light elf she is naturally gifted and strongest in creating non-physical bindings but enjoys the physical version best for the creativity they offer. Those are restraints strengthened or modified with a written spell (ie: string that can cut, ribbon that burns, rope that constricts, etc). She keeps several of these physical bonds hidden on her person at all times.
Additional Info:
- Mistress Avarice is well known to have an assorted and personal collection of manservants who’ve devoted themselves to her in some form or another. They go by different occupations depending on her alias:
Lady Cordelia has several butlers
Madam Aria has bodyguards
Aliases for East Point and Miriellus always have at least one male friend/boyfriend/relative around. - The outfit in her application is neutral and can be used for all her personas
- She has never been seen without her gloves on
- Her ring usually contains a sleeping drug, though on special occasions she's been known to carry drugs that induce pain, nausea, or hallucinations, so try to avoid kissing that pretty little gem~

Her design is so fancy! I could imagine if it was any more complicated you'd have trouble redrawing it :'D
I do love your lady very much... I think we should rp. A lot. With this woman. Please. :'DDD

True~ Though she's got a hefty wardrobe, so the fun part is that I can play around a bit each time I draw her. x)
as for roleplaying, YES PLEASE. I'll note you!

Thank you! The Mistress is "pretty and dangerous" to a T so she'd have to have items to match, no~?

Ahhhh she's gorgeous! ♥ What a badass dominatrix lady, her design is so classy and I love all the details about her underground workings huhuhu. (Also, you need to draw her in a billion outfits, I BET SHE HAS AN AMAZING WARDROBE. Or, you know, she just makes everything she wears look amazing fuahaha)
As a question of interest, how does she get by in the Empire as a light elf? I mean, I imagine no one could really object to her (for long, anyway heh) but the only two other light elves living in the Empire go to great lengths to hide their race (one wears a mask and the other cut off his ears and dyed his hair) so I'm curious how she fares with the widespread discrimination! :'>

Thaaank you~! (´∀`)♡ I'm so glad with how she turned out! Because if I didn't do it right, I'm sure she'd have made me do it all over again. But you can be absolutely sure that her wardrobe is vast. I'll probably think up new outfits every time I draw her, so I hope other people have fun with that too! (Assuming people will want to draw her, anyway~) It makes me wish there were more spots on the outfit meme for when I get to that. x)
Anyway there's quite a wall of discrimination to get past, no doubt. She deals with it in a case-by-case scenario, but there's always a smile involved at first. The Mistress has been in Order territory for quite a while, so the plus side is that at this point most of it is close to entertaining. In a, "you're so cute, being as ignorant as you are—I could make you scream in three seconds~!" sort of way. I don't think she'd mind if her reputation does precede her either, because unlike the other light elves her personas are less of a legitimate cover than just a way to pass the time.
As for how she deals with it, her boytoys make for excellent stress relief after she's come up against someone particularly stupid.~
(○゜ε^○)Plus, if you catch her on a bad day she won't be too shy with showing you why you should be showing her a bit more respect with some firsthand experience.
I am so sorry for the wall of text

Ohh yesss I can't wait to see her in the clothing meme! And new outfits in general, that is going to be a treat to see. ♥
But ahh ahaha I see! Oh dear, I like that detail about how she vents her frustrations on her poor men, since I think a lot of the everyday discrimination she comes across is going to be those little things she can't really confront. :'D (General looks of disgust, ignoring her, subtle refusals to provide goods and services, lack of politeness, etc.) If she can confront - and therefore rectify - the case then, yes, I imagine she'd be quite good at that. (◡‿◡✿)
And oh, no, don't apologise for text walls, I love reading everything! ♥

That's a really cool character, much grace and cultural aspects to her appearance. I like the royal color choice especially, that just wouldn't be the same without the white hair. They nicely contrast each other. It's hard for me to do interesting clothes and hairstyles to be honest, so this is pretty fascinating.
PS: I see this character is part of a role playing group rather than a randomly generated character on that Seven Sanctum site you once suggested. However I thought it was at first, and even though it's obvious this is a character with much more of a background and matching details that connect with the overall world they're from, each time I see these, I want to try making something from a generator on that website. Must be fun by the looks of it and a break from the familiar too.

Thank you so much, Natal-ee-a! I'm awfully pleased at how beautiful my little Mistress turned out and it's so nice to hear that people from outside the group can appreciate her just as much. I had the bonus of having a sort of cultural background to work from and references of other characters to figure out what her style of clothing might look like, but now that I've done something like this it might make my next generator character a bit more detailed and interesting-looking.
Speaking of, I'd really recommend trying a generator just for some fun, and if you do I'd like to see what you'd make! I could even send you the huge generator that I've made bit by bit, if you'd like. It's a little low-tech—you need to use a number generator—but it includes some things that don't exist in the seventh sanctum generators like personality quirks (ie: pathological liar), art challenges (like "include ___ background/setting), character traits (both positive and negative), personal items (perhaps something they're never seen without), alternate species (from gnome to basalisk anthro to "make your own mountain-dweller) and several other things!
