Aww, I been seeing a baby groundhog around my backyard also but it doesn't make for such a great photo. I might go & look anyway but it's definitely not as striking as this. Were you able to get close? It looks like you were on ground level.

Yes this one was kind of sickly so it was coming up to us. We took it to a wildlife vet who helped him and released him back to the wild.

How cute, where did you see this little guy?

We found two on the side of the road while out bird watching. They where acting weird, walking up to humans, so we took them to a wildlife center. We where afraid theyΒ might ofΒ had rabies. Ended up they where just dehydrated and low condition.
