I wanted to do some pixel art, real quick, so I chose a character from my ref sheet collection in my faves. This is Iori the Damphear, belonging to *souls-poison .

It didn't turn out as well as I was hoping. I sort of lost the arms, value-wise. Didn't really notice until I was almost done, so I didn't re-do it. I added more shadows to them and made the front-most lighter but I wasn't sure how I would do it differently. I re-did the face maybe twice and the chest fluff once. Those turned out nice.

Maybe it would have looked better with a different light source, instead of it coming straigh at him?
But it was fun to do, I love working with bright colors.
