only thing I would say- the filtered blur effects the shadows too strongly, perhaps consider duplicating the blur into its own Mask channel, thereby softening the highlights whilst being more kind to the shadows .. in my experience this is a good way to achieve more natural results

Hehe. I've done that. Really. I was lucky to have a tree to take the hit. I like composition on this. The head tilt. The hat. Looking right into a gun.

I think what is most arresting in this piece is the sheer impact of "kill" as seen in the title, coupled with the terrifying image of a gun pointed towards the observer. The gratuitous violence instantly jolt viewers, who then feel relief as they realise that the model is in fact aiming at a mirror image of herself...
A series of juxtapositions also reinforces the idea of the model engaging in a showdown with herself: Wallpaper on the left in neat horizontal folds, whereas the right is crumpled... the pervasive contrast of black and white, especially in her hair...
Is she scared of herself?... the slight, backwards tilting of the head... the dark eyes, as if she has been veiled all her life...
The power to imagine, to create, to destroy... aren't all of us afraid of ourselves?
