I took this photo earlier this year when I was on my way to an old-friend and took another route than the usual one. I came across an old, abandoned wind-mill and decided to check it out, hoping to get a good photo out of it.
On the inside there were at least half a dozen dead birds on the ground and a gay magazine, all torn up with the pages all over (don't ask me!!!).
It was a weird, unreal and even scary place - I took this photo and got the hell out!

Weird thing was when I looked at the image, I really thought the cloud was moving.
The smaller image has that effect.

It's almost surreal... two-way gate, parallel universe and temporal dark hauntings with subtle hope..
immersing Light supersiding even in most murky moments... but check the green, wild plants : They're in celebretary moods...

Freaking great shot! The lighting is perfect, and i feel like im being led away from a dark and bad place (i think thats due to your little story hehe) The sky and clouds add a good amount of contrast and the stairs lead the eye to them which creates a good balance. The tones and colours are great aswell.
