Description I know I haven't posted a photo in a while, and you might be confused as why out of all pictures I chose to post this one first. Some of you know exactly why though. I honestly never planned on posting this, but today was scrolling through my pictures and saw this and felt so nostalgic, even if it was only taken about 4 months ago.

So for those who don't know this is the story behind it.

This is kind of where all of this started. Last year I realized I did not like the major I said I wanted to be in since I was five. I decided to take a drawing class on a whim because I've always loved art and hadn't taken an art class since high school.

When I first walked into this room I just smiled and felt at home. In that class I learned a lot, made some awesome friends, and officially decided to change my major to art.

The room wasn't perfect. We always had to move the tables around for each class, make sure we didn't touch other classes still lives, and hoped that the older easels wouldn't fall on us. But still it was the main art room and we were all there quite a lot.

By the end of the semester we were ready to leave. Our college was being moved to a brand new building and we were all excited about what it would look like. I took this photo on one of the last days of school just a few days after getting my new camera.

Now it's fall and the new semester has started. The school is absolutely beautiful and all those awesome friends are still around. The art wing is just lovely. There's a brand new gallery area and all the rooms are so pretty we almost don’t want to ruin them once we really start working. Everything is all organized and we have brand new everything from easels, to dark room projectors.

As much as I love the new school, looking back at this photo made me realize how I will miss that room. I like that I took it just the way it looked. The tables aren't perfectly in line and there’s random final pieces scattered about to be taken later that week. It’s chaotic, messy and there's a finality about it, knowing I’ll never see it again. It’s exactly how I’ll always remember it.
