Description
Extinction, Demise, RuinHunted, the deer finds a paradise it will not return from.
I wanted to create a very atmospheric environment; I feel the colours here are fresh and vibrant, and there is a sense of energy emitting.
I didn't want to overcomplicate the deer. So I made it very simple. It's head is supposedly gazing up at the faint sun ahead, though I suppose it's open to interpretation

I really love the concept of the deer finding a place so perfect for it, yet never returning from it. The perspective reminds me of a hunter, stalking it from behind. It looks peaceful gazing up at the sun, but doesn't know what's going to happen with in seconds. Erm, ya.... i over analyze a lot

Nice. The colours make it look so tranquil, and the simplicity of the elements within the piece add to it, but at the same time bring out detail and thought.

The colors certainly ARE great.
I like the narrative you included before your personal thoughts on the piece.
I often feel works of art should have a slight explanation with a sense of story next to it. Maybe it's because I've always seen art displayed in galleries, and such was a relative norm. I dunno.
