Description
The only time Kid was ever caught, and they didn't even know who he was
Anyway, still really like this manga chapter, as shown by my other pictures from it. It was fun and I edited the overall design of the 'machine' slightly from the original, but only slightly.
It was fun, but too took long DX

I think a lot of us wanted that. When 1412 was first announced after all the special I thought hey might, I know i made a comment or something at some point hoping they would.
T_T too bad.
Honestly, with all the remakes of the DC episodes they did, they could have focused more on Magic Kaito instead. I think the only reason they didn't was they wanted the profits from the already very popular Detective Conan fans, so I can understand it.

I hadn't heard of Magic Kaito before 1412 was already finished, so I didn't have the pre-hype for it. But, sometimes, when I'm lying in my bed at night, I think, "Man, I wish they had made that into in episode. Then maybe we could have had more episodes of MK so I would have more to watch and wish Gosho would do more with." XD
Seriously, though, I love DC and MK a lot (as I already mentioned), but, I also kinda want Gosho to finish the story so we can have closure on it. I mean, I know I'll be sad when it ends because of course I will. But, I have to admit, at this rate I'm a little worried that dear Gosho-sama will be die before he gets to finish the story. And then we'll all be forced to wonder how it would've ended.

I doubt we'll have any issues there. Gosho himself has already said he knows how he's going to end it
(and has said he is going to end it at a certain point, though that might change)
I love both of them a lot too and I can understand him wanting to focus on DC over MK (even though MK came first) because he's obviously more dedicated to that story and there are a lot more fans.
I do, however, hope that he gives us a least a few chapters or a manga volume and finishes up MK as well when the time comes and after he's finished with DC.
A lot of MK wasn't multiple chapters and some of the stories were dated enough that I know it would be hard for A1 to have pulled off without having issues but not making that episode meant they couldn't possibly make the other one with the dead man's successor, and both I found rather interesting and different (even though I hate robots in stories and both those had them)

That's good to know. I figured he had it all figured out, but I wasn't sure. Hopefully he'll have it written down somewhere for just in case. (That sounded waaaayyy worse that I meant it to. Sorry.)
Yeah, I totally understand it too. I mean, no one wants to spend their time on something that feels like it isn't really getting much attention. I have a sneaking suspicion that Kaitou Kid is going to be making a lot of appearances at the end of DC, of course, I'm probably completely wrong on my hunch. Personally, though, I do really hope that Kaito and Shinichi take the organization down together, or at least work together on something. Like, I know that they've helped each other in the past, but, I mean like, haveing them work together with full knowledge of doing so. I just really like the idea of Kid and Conan working together to figure out a plan, I think it would be so awesome.
Dead man's successor? I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about there. :/ Sorry. Is it in one of the later chapters of the manga? I haven't read through it all yet, so it's very possible that that's why I'm not entirely clear as to what you're talking about.

The scientist who died in the very beginning of that chapter (who is the one who kidnaps kaito) has a successor/apprentice. He only mentions it in passing so it's possible you read it as well and dont' remember it. It's the only other chapter with robots, so it's impossible to miss.
There was apparently a lot of people hating on when Kaito was on the DC train case and Gosho right away came out and said he wouldn't be playing any main roll with the Black Org. so unfortunately you can only find that stuff in fanfiction.
And there is enough good ones out there on that subject that the fact that Gosho didn't want him involved doesn't really bother me.

I've gotten really bad in the last few years because of my family life and now with the location I'm in.
I haven't updated some of my stories in a really long time. I used to be all gun-ho about it, because I enjoyed it. I have a few that need just a few chapters but I rushed one of them badly enough that the end felt flat so I don't want that to happen to teh few I still do need to end. A good ending that I wait until I WANT to write has to be better than an ending I simply put together because I needed it done.
I can't say I recall seeing your name before but it's possible. I look at all the reviews when I get them though I barely ever, if ever even, respond to them. Typically there's nothing to say.
I've pulled away from reading as much as I have writing so anything that came out in the last few years on that site I'm afraid has not gotten to me either.
When I'm more settled and have a place to write (as i don't really have one here) hopefully I can get back into it. I would like to work on my own story first, as it just needs editing, but it's all about what I actually want to do at this point.
I can also understand why there are some DC fans who don't like all the MK stuff mixed in with the show, as it's a detective show first and foremost, but I think what got most people mad was Kid seems to be an easy fix answer and not a lot of people DO want him and Conan to team up (as they wouldn't for one thing. Gosho has come out and said that Conan would turn Kid in in a second if he knew who he was) and because Kid has too many talents that don't all rely on realism.
Whatever Gosho does, I'm sure we're all going to love it in the end.

I don't have an account on there, so I would be easy to overlook anyway. I totally get that, whenever I try to force myself to write, it never turns out good.
I can understand why they would want Kid to not be too involved. But, it'll probably still be my wish to have him a little more involved, just as theirs is to keep him out.

Yah I like that 'Magic Kaito' chapter allot. I was hopeing in the Magic Kaito anime they would make that chapter into a episode I waited and waited but it never came! I would of been an epic episode with lots of action. . . .

I know. After the anime was announced I was talking with my friend and that was the one episode I wanted made. Now we have three different versions of the episode with the queen and her child instead of a new episode. That part kinda ticked me off. It was an ova episode of Detective Conan, then it was in Detective Conan's take on Magic Kaito, and then it was in Magic Kaito 1412. REALLY could have used a new episode instead of a third version of one that already existed.

I know I was so mad about them I just said screw this I not even going to watch that! Why make three of the same story it's stupid! but maybe I'll watch it someday when I get over my huff about it. There is so many Magic Kaito they could've done then that. AAugh!!! Why not that submarine one with all the treasure at the bottom of the sea, or better yet where kaitos dad met his mom! My memory may be bad of this series since Ive been watching other stuff for awhile now, but come on! even that would be better then watching three of the same story!
Man, I love Conan and Magic Kaito It's still my all time favorite anime and manga of all time! I would draw alot of Conan fanart. I was even once able to catch up to where Gosho left off at the manga and almost the anime episode. But I needed a brake cause as much as I love this story It's come to the point where this story is like Japanese Scooby-Doo Milking the story for what it's worth untill it runs dry. But if you take a brake and come back it will be like seeing a old friend that you know you wasted your time on but cant help but feel nothing but love once you get acquainted again and your reminded why you love this person to know end.

Ah... the only magic kaito manga chapter with his mom and his dad was the one gosho wrote just two? years ago, and that one did make it into Magic Kaito 1412. But yeah, I know they didn't do the submarine one because, like it or not, the guy just kinda sank with the ship and Kaito, somehow, thought he'd still be alive and fine without it working. It would have been fine with a little edit here or there though. The baseball one was too short so I get that one, and I guess the Clockwork heart had - oh no, blood! - and they didn't wanna do that? I don't know.
I've always followed the episodes as they come out. I can't help it, I like Bourbon too much and have since the second i saw him. The main characters being a part of the manga almost every other chapter helped a lot but, since Gosho had gotten sick, had to wait and the filler he did after was... cute i guess. I'm not much into little kids and 'cute' XD not in Detective Conan anyway. I'm having to jump all around the internet because only one person is translating the manga and they put it on a site that you need a subscription to to read it so... ick there. Try and find another website that went to the trouble of getting it where i couldn't.
I haven't read any new fanfiction but that always replaced any boredom I had with the show. Since the last like..8-10 episodes have been filler I've been waiting and waiting and now there's a special being aired so more waiting.
I don't think that they're as caught up to the manga that they should be worrying about it, but maybe they are.

The Baseball one could of been done too, I dont see why not they couldn't do that ether. Just put some filler with Conan meeting the kid who obsessed with KID that would of give the fans a good laugh.
Sadly I dont know know this website where you can read new chapter's of conan. So I have no chance of reading new manga. . .
Thats why alot of fans stopped reading Conan.
( also doesn't help that I didnt have a computer to go on the internet for year. but now Ive got a new one now I save my money for a long time it's a Mac that Im starting to love.)
I wish I could like Bourbon, but Im having a hard time liking him. but maybe I still haven't got'n that far yet and he has a better back story that will make me like him better. So I'll give him the benefit of the doubt until further notice. I do that with all the characters of a story I just have a hard time liken. But It's making me slow to want to read the manga cause of these new characters I dont have love for
Yah I heard about Gosho getting sick. I got so sad when I found out. I had a feeling this would happen eventually he's getting on in years. and by the way the story is going I feel it will never be finished. . . To me a unfinished story is a tragedy. thats why I wish people would translate one of Gosho's finished works like his old short story's or 'YAIBA' why haven't they? I've been waiting for years for it to be finished. Im a fan of Gosho I want to read every single manga he's ever made thats what I do to show my love of author or artist I love. but It's wishful thinking on my part.
