2 can you tell me were you got the pattern from?

it's not easy to follow the so called correct methods.
(I'm left-handed which makes knitting a nightmare.)
she's rather rotund actually, I didn't realize the material I was making would stretch so much.
(never taken a picture of her though.)

Well, I can't even follow the amount of stitches or rows or anything (I only put it in one loop and I think the right way is to put it in two...)
I was thankfully born right handed or my brain probably couldn't take trying to figure it all out backwards
And you should take a picutre of it ^^
It's art and you made me want to see it now
- mine didn't really streach, so I didn't have that problem

it does help to follow some of the rules...
I was born right-handed, I've been doing things backwards ever since I decided to copy my brother's left-handedness.
(I literally reverse how I hold the needles for knitting though, I somehow manage to knit right-handed left-handedly. (don't ask me to explain, I don't understand it myself.)
I may just. still embarrassed by her wings - stupid little silver things - but I've been thinking I should maybe share her with the internet.
yours is crochet, that kind of material shouldn't stretch too much.

*laughs* you don't need no rules huh?
my mom tried to explain to me once - what I was doing - but it made about as much sense as what I said.
sure, I took a picture, but I forgot my memory card upstairs today. (when I remember to bring it down I'll almost certainly post it and let you know.)
it's the technique as much as the yarn that determines how stretchy a material is when you finish. (I've never met a crocheted item that was particularly stretchy.)

I tend to...
even right in front of me the explanation made no sense.
only things I've done are a few random squares and the critter. (I was extremely determined though, and I had a regular stuffed animal to use as a base.)
yup, I know. (only thing I ever manage to use those for is hiding the loose ends on my socks.)
*laughs* I'm glad you're having fun.

XD Aren't the next ones always different? It'd take A LOT of practice to get them all mostly the same. ^-^ And you're welcome. ^-^
