Aw, come on! Shino would SO be a happy drunk! Not, like, perverted happy, just generally smiling all the time... maybe some random talking every once in awhile.And I know that his bugs can draw poison out of his body, which probably includes alcohol, so my reasoning for this (as well as the explanation as to why he drank the entire bottle to begin with) is that Shino would have to drink enough to get the bugs themselves drunk, and he can then begin to drink for himself.
Or you can go with Lee's explanation. The alcohol tolerance of youth. Note that Lee himself doesn't have it. 
And I did try really hard with the coloring in Photoshop... but by the time I got to the background, I just didn't care anymore. Hence my poor excuse for trees.

Ah, hmm, well... just a theory I have... that, you know, the kikaichu come out through slits in the arms, possibly? I dunno, it was only a thought when I was drawing it.

To comment on your photoshop coloring, you still kinda have those little white bits around the lineart....but you're still learning at it I know so it's okay. Try putting the lineart on the top layer as a 'multiply' layer and then coloring in layers underneath, then you get clean color without that. ^^ And I know what you mean about backgrounds, GOD I hate doing backgrounds. XD;;
OMG now I wanna draw a pic of drunk kikai bugs. XDD; cause you put that image into my head (I never really thought about it before if they could get drunk or not, cause the insects can remove toxins when they get to his father's level, but at Shino's level he couldn't yet....*thinks back to poor Shino being poisoned by Kankuro* but then again they couldn't break down laughing posin

I'm not all that fond of using layers when I color... and it's tough as it is since I draw and ink my stuff traditionally, then scan it in... my lineart is never all that clean, lol... but maybe I should try anyways.
