Here's a tribute to the late John Buscema. I grew up with the comic art of John Buscema, and his artwork was one of the main influences on my own work. His version of Conan is my favorite incarnation of the character, and I'll take Big John's barbarian even over Frazetta's (which I also love). Each week, I try to contribute a sketch to the Weekly Sketch Group on Penciljack, and this week's request topic is to either draw Wolverine as "Patch" or Ra's Al Ghul's daughter, Talia. Normally I'd opt to draw the pretty girl, but I didn't want to miss a chance at doing a drawing in the classic John Buscema style made famous by HOW TO DRAW COMICS THE MARVEL WAY. It's just a fast brushpen head & shoulders sketch, but I added some text in there for the sake of comedy and fun. Hope you like the sketch.
