Wow, I really like this. Your style with reds, black, and white is really cool. I like it a lot. But this one in particular because I dunno, it has a strong feeling to it. All their faces are just straight, like nothing can bring them down. No fear. It's really great.

Nice picture. Oh, by the way, belatedly, happy 11th of Novemeber (it's Remembrance day up here, Veteran's day where you are, it's the same holiday). Anyways, I like your use of shading here, it makes it more dramatic. And the red ground...."red" sometimes used for "I declare war"...and also the color of the glow of an explosion, perhaps? I imagine these Marines marching off to war, their faces showing no signs whatsoever of fear.

I think I was going for the whole ancient 'marching over the blood of our enemies' theme such as you would find in ancient Spartan or Roman or Scotch literature. Apparently, you got the point. I'm glad the colors are doing what I want them to Thank you much for the critique!
