Description German armour trapped in Falaise pocket in France, a commission painting for an online WW II game. The Sherman and Panther knocked out in the field, Sdkfz 251 crossing the river. Without air superiority the armoursΒ were extremely vulnerable. The Panzer IV crossing the small bridge is from my own 1:35 Tamiya kit, assembled and painted by myself, used as main reference. Artrage and Photoshop painting.Β Β

Wonderful art piece love the smaller details on the panzer 4 with the skirt armor barely hanging on there, and the water is beautiful in the river great job.

That's a really nice work but can you tell how you use both photoshop and artrage for drawings ?

I have them but I only use photoshop and I really like the natural effect of artrage and I really want to know how to use it with photoshop.

Thank you, it depends on which app to be used as a base, I sometime start from one and end with another. Mainly Artrage for the more expressive strokes and brush work and PS more more precise control.

Thanks for your answer, can you tell me how did you learn to use Artrage ? I know photoshop very well (I can't say I and know 100% of this software but, still) but Artrage is totaly new for me ...

I have been using it on and off for a few years, it only requires one hour to learn the software.

This is SO amazing!
I completed the Falaise pocket mission in CoH (another game featuring your amazing art)
Puts you in the shoes of a german captain tasked with holding the escape route open until the armours (seventh I think) got out!
