Description
I had this crazy idea the other day (and I'm sure lots of other people have thought of it too) but: what if Thor and Loki's childhoods had been reversed? Odin tells Loki early on that he was adopted into the family after a battle with the Jotuns. Determined to show Asgard that he is fit to defend the realm, Loki grows up strong and shows his worth as future king. He isn't afraid to show his Jotun side; on the contrary, he'll often play with the children, showing his blue skin and allowing them to play-pretend that they're mighty warriors.
Thor however, is shunned. He is ignored most of the time by everyone and spends most of his time either alone or learning magic with his mother. He puts his all into showing his father that he's also good enough, but Loki always outshines him. Loki is given Mjolnir and Thor is left with nothing.

And then of course, I genderswapped the warriors three and lady Sif. I just hope they came out okay. (From left to right: Volstagg, Hogun, Fandral and Lady Sif.)
