What is it that seems flagellating, inside the big circle?

Love the way in which everything is interconnected, something the world is yet to realize.

eh Amaquieria? See inside the big circle, next to the 6 smaller circles, there are smaller circles still..
they were supposed to have 2 swirly thingies each, one on each side. But when I had done all the ones on the right, I kinda like the effect.. If I would've put a tiny circle on top, they look like a little cat, or even a mouse Do you like them this way, or prefer 2 twirly thingies?

So beautiful. Its like astrology meets geometry with a dash of Arabian. I would call it the Arabian Nights piece. I love how it seems to form stars and suns and crescent moons as you look at it.

haha Amaquieria.. you have such a poetic nature. But it's really nice how you notice stuff that other people maybe wouldn't. Talso tells me you really look at something The shine comes from the gold and silver pigment markers. It does funny stuff to your eyes indeed, especially on the original pieces.

And I'm renaming this piece now, thank you for title-ing it (I first wrote titling, but somehow that didn't seem right)

(by the way, sorry I havent been over yet to see your stuff, Ive got yr last 40 devs in inbox sitting on top of my page. This evening I managed to respond to email, and to comments, AND I re-arranged my gallery, all pretty clean now.. just still need to go through and maybe delete some, and arrange order in some, but overall.. pretty happy. You're next But not tonight, I'm beat and really have to go. (we had a crazy day, up at 5.15 since our youngest dog had a seizure Went to vet ofcourse. She seems allright now, but we keep fingers crossed it wont happen again. Though it might be epilepsy )

Glad you liked the name. It was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the Detail.

I'm sorry to hear about your dog. I hope she feels better soon. I once heard about someone who had a dog who had seizures and she modified his diet to include some sort of herbal remedy and hand made all of his meals (sounds like a lot of work ) but she said it cured him. Maybe the vet knows something about it or Google (I'd trust the vet more ).

Don't stress over viewing my stuff too much. I mostly doodle as it is anyhow. and I certainly don't expect people to view them all. My enjoyment comes from working it on it more than the end result.

heard something, just had to check on the doggie

anyway, what I was going to say.. is my drawings now.. while I'm working on em, I'm often thinking of sand mandala's.. You ever heard about those?
It's an amazing concept once you get it.. How something is only worthwhile while you're working on it, and with all your concentration. How only the best you can give is important. The importance in the doing and making. Then the end result.. after days and sometimes weeks of work? There will be a hand, smudging through it. Then another and another. Until all the sand is mixed again, and no more colour nor patterns discernable. And then they'll scoop up all the sand.. and somebody will sweep the floor clean.. and then it's as IF it never was.
But it was.
And while it was.. it made a difference

Footsteps through time..

Like my favorite saying, "Nothing last for ever except the experience of living" or as my Mom would put it, "Make happy memories to have a happy life because in the end all you will have are those memories which you decide to keep."

One of the reasons I want to own a Zen garden some day is just for that reason. The experience of creating a new pattern each day in the sand and the chance to relax into a silent meditation as I work focusing only on the task at hand and nothing else.

thanks. And yes, I know what you mean. Working on em is the super part. I am often dissapointed, when a piece is finished. And I tell myself I should enjoy it even more while it's going, cause soon and eventually it'll be finished

hang on

Enjoy it while you work on it and then look forward to the next project as one task ends and the other begins.
