Description I absolutely loved loved loved working this one!  Also, still loving my Prismacolor- and Pro markers.  I'm not too happy with the Copic markers, I think they are too expensive for running out of ink so soon.  Also, the Copic fineliners that I've been trying out lately, won't buy those again. They lose their shine when I erase my pencils marks over them, so much even, my erasers ends up pitch black. The Pitt Artist pen and the Micron pens didn't use to do that so much.  So, back to those.

You're used to working on larger sheets, but I was still on 11x14"s.  It'll be fun, I'm sure

Love what you did with the feathers!  Been meaning to ask, what's your favorite way to make these mandalas, as in do you prefer drawing, painting, or whatever?

Thanks!  The feathers are a new addition.  I loved drawing them, and colouring was even more fun.  I always draw my mandalas now, then colour them with either colour pencils, or markers, or both.  I have never painted them.  What I did do way bac, what set off my drrawing them in the first place, was wood coasters.  I put a layer of acrylic paint on them, then painted circles on em. They looked quite nice. All my family members have my coasters now  And I managed to sell quite a few of them, too.  But I haven't made anymore of those in ages.  My husband was suggesting I try painting one just the other day as well.  Instead we opted for me trying a huge mandala (see last photo). I've got a 32x40" bristol board for that now.  We'll see what happens after that.  Can't wait to start drawing on it, but I don't quite know where it's going to go yet

I love that this is a drawing instead of a painting! Gives it a more tribal look. Love those lines!! And wow, what a trip to look at it!
