Quick image done up in Photoshop for the movie Nacho Libre. I based the style of the character a bit off of Cheeks-74's (an incredible artist) style of work. All crits and comments welcome of course!-Louis

that's good news for me! back when i did this i was in a real cheeks obsession and this was the first thing i did trying to implement a bit of his style, so i guess i succeeded atleast a little!

haven't seen this movie yet, but it looks funny. this is a great poke at jack black! although I don't think he's quite so ripped as the drawing, somehow :S

i like the style the character is done in (would like to view what Cheeks-74's art looks like any links?).
Its not seriouse and yet not cartoony!! The facial expression also has more emotion in it if you look at it for a while longer. I also like the shading.
The background and font of the text (character and movie name) gives it the feel of those 1920 - 1940 circus adds for "Worlds strongest man" etc etc. Thats a nice look from my point of view!
