The first time I saw this photo I fell in love. It’s so beautiful
-and this goes out to those who have commented on me 'having to draw a "real" man and not pretty, feminine Japanese men' 
Someone forgot to tell me that I, who have never draw a beard before, can’t draw beards
and most of the hair and the microphone are made without the reference photo at hand, so please don’t compare the two 
The original photo and all rights to it is © the talented xlostfaith ([link] ) and the model.
OBS: This is NOT edited in some photo-software program. This is a pure scan of the original drawing -it's only worsened by my stupid scanner- and it’s completely touch-free. I really hate when people automatically assume I've used Photoshop (or a similar program) to edit the details and contrast of my drawings. Just a little notion before anyone asks.

wow! goodness if it wasnt for the fact you've said this was done by pencil I'd of thought this was a photo, amazeing shadeing, very sensetive. Exspecially the shinyness on the mic, just perfect!
BTW was woundereing how you get those really nice consistent blacks, like in this and many other of your portraits. When ever i try to get strong blacks with pencils, like in the background here, it always comes out grainy and just looks messy, how do u make it so clean?

The reflects, the texture of metal or the little "moss" of the micro... all is just perfect, like a photo!
