I have so much to say about this piece...*W* First off, it is for an OC contest over at I am aiming for the three years subscription but the odds are LOWWWWWW, as low as the odds Mr Tot will wear a bathing suit willingly, coz there are over 200 participants!!!askbfgjafjhavjavfva!!!!

So, this picture was inspired by a dream I had...I seem to enjoy drawing Jour in black and white with splashes of red WHRYYYYYY~ again white for purity red for corruption, I think if you've read descriptions for Jour pictures before, you would've gotten the hang of it by now...I TOOK A LONG TIME ON THIS!!! Pencils smudge easily and shading ain't as easy as it looks...>.>

ANYWAY for the sake of the contest, I have to write a character description in this entry, most of it would have been repeated before in a previous entry, so you don't really need to read it unless this is your first time reading about Jour. There may be additional info about him, but it's gonna be looooooooooooongplz.

+START OF ASSLONG DESCRIPTION+

This is Jour, the former French president in my story Mein Fairytale. His name means 'day' in French, representing light, hope and a carefree attitude. (name idea thanks to my beloved Emobarber, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE)

The French president was known as the 'Humble Pheasant' because of his royalty and red streak of hair on his head that resembled the bird, and because of his kindness towards his people.

Jour was very understanding towards the people and was always able to bring hope and comfort to the people through his speeches and his smiling face. He was usually always able to prevent his country from going to war and to settle disputes peacefully, this earned him respect as both a leader and a politician.

Jour's wife was a very bad tempered woman, named Maria, they were husband and wife since Jour was born, and don't love each other, but stayed married for the sake of producing an heir. Maria loved to eat and scold Jour, so he was often afraid to see her.

Alas Jour was not to have a happy story. The rich were unhappy with the attention Jour gave the normal folk, and so collaborated to assasinate him. On the year of his 31st birthday, he was assasinated during a speech. He was first stabbed in the abdomen and then died bleeding from a hole in his midsection caused by a suicide bomber.

Even after death he was to suffer, though pure of heart and soul Jour was deemed to have been tainted by the devil the day he was born. He was born to be a politician; and once a politician forever sinned.

Unable to pass on into Heaven he was sent to Hell, and his memory of everything taken away from him as punishment. Now he wanders Hell as a lost being with no direction.

This picture depicts his plight, the blood representing sin and corruption while he in a white garb represents purity. He is ontop of the flagpost, representing how he is at the peak of his life. The emblem on the flag that of a sun, symbolizing hope and light.

However, being a politician he has had a role to play in warfare and the corpses around his flagpole are where the corruption is born. It is represented by blood, which slowly seeps up the flagpole, and consumes the white purity of Jour.

The sunflower is a route of escape for him, and though he is so close the sin corrupts him before he can reach it. Being stained fully red represents him having been sent to Hell.

ahgfajfafjagfk long description blablablahhhhhgh. Alot of the other participating pieces have got lovely colours on them, I dunno how my monotone piece can ever compete lol...but I wanted to draw this from my dream anyway so...
