L is the for the Libertines for my A-Z series. You can't read any kind of newspaper or music magazine without seeing or reading something to do with the saga that is the Libertines. Is Pete still in the band? is still on drugs? is he cleaning up his act? who knows!The guards jackets were great to draw, I think they really make the image of the band, when you look at promotional shots etc the jackets always stand out, for me anyway

Dunno if this has already been posted but have you seen the Guardian's Abba to Zappa campaign? Its very similar.

yeah, I did these just as that cmapign came out, was a bit gutted when I found out but still mine are slightly different to theirs, theirs are a bit more sqaure looking
