I love this, which is the theme that drew me to your work. I like the notion of the daughter tying up the mother (although I do realize it was daughter and son this time). Any chance of more Stephanie tying her mother up? Nice touch adding the glasses and love what Stephanie is wearing. I'm also glad you're a high heels sort of artist, not to knock all those bare foot fans out there, but there is something about a woman in high heels. Love when I stumble onto an artist who has that as a consistant element.

To me it's very visually appealing, so it's art in that respect,the female form combined with beautifully arranged and knotted ropes is just the ultimate beauty. On an underlying level, maybe it's the ancient conquering male gene, from Ghengis Khan and Attila the Hun and Romans and the sort...although I doubt those guys had to vent their frustrations through drawings. They got their fill on the real thing. Anyway, that's one theory...

Also, I theorize, even before iron and bronze and nations bigger than tribal sized, guys would just go kidnap the ladies they liked, and kept them tied up in their cave or hut until they were used to being with their new 'family'. Anyway, if that was the case, somehow those genes are in my twisted brain. To this day, most women prefer 'bad boys', and I think that is the other side of this.

Is it really? I never got much out of history that regarded relevant core human nature until college, and kind of put things all together into a bigger picture myself.
Actually I first heard the term 'might equals right' from my dad though, after visiting Tombstone, when he theorized the Earps and their posse weren't really any better people than the Clampets and their gang, it was just who got the badges and ended up winning out in the end.
