On this day, many brave soldiers who where American, Australian, Canadian and British died in rescuing France from Nazi Germany. Without the Invasion of Normandy, France would of been no longer a country. But with our help we Americans, British, Canadians an Australians sacrificed they're lives in liberating France from being occupying by the Nazis.Stitches represent the former borders of the short lived state of Vichy France, a short lived Axis member in World War II. Fork near Paris shows that Nazi Germany would of made the city of Paris the next meal for Adolf Hitler. France cries for help from her allies America, Australia, UK, and Canada. The flags of Australia, Canada, US and UK are coming to rescue France from the Nazis. Blood dripping out of the city of Vichy shows that fascism was the main type of government of Vichy France when it was occupied by Nazi Germany.
Remember this day! The day we saved France!
Long live the French, the bravest and hopeful people of Europe. Throughout their history they have been in many wars such as the French Revolution, Napoleonic Wars, Franco-Prussian War, World War I, and World War II. The French never gave up in war and will never give up to this very day.

The Australians were involved in the Invasion of Normandy. In fact I heard the prime minister of Australia, Tony Abbott was there today at Omaha Beach to honor the UK and US veterans.
