Recently I found some of the "survivors" of the "drawing purge" that I did last year on dA; apparently I forgot to check my scrapbook folder for any disasters I've done over the years. This pic right here is a redone version of this... well, thing from the beginning of my drawing journey in 2009:

Since I got back to being active on dA again, I also started to draw more. I'm trying to draw hands and poses from references everyday and I was even trying to draw some little KP comic oneshots, 'cause I got some ideas that I really liked. However not using my Wacom tablet for so long resulted in my inability to draw digitally. I just can't do it... I can draw some pretty decent sketch on paper and then I turn on my laptop and BOOM, SURPRISE, HOW DO YOU DRAW AN EYE????. It's really frustrating.

But I still want to get better at drawing, so I need to draw a lot. Especially digitally. So two days ago I was just like, "y'know, I'm gonna just redraw one of that disasters from my scrapbook folder, not worry about anything, and think about these comics and other drawings later, 'cause I don't want to just keep getting angry at drawing and ditch it yet again." And YES, FINALLY, I finished a drawing! On my effin' laptop!

I had so much fun redrawing this pic and remembering the times when your biggest struggle was with some 9th grade geometry homework and when not having Internet connection for a month right after registering to deviantArt and discovering the Kimmunity, was considered the end of the world. LOL.

Also, apparently listening to Scooter's discography and other trance/techno/eurodance/edm/whatev songs can really speed up your work. Like on a crack... or LSD... or Idon'tknowwhatI'veneverdonedrugs.
